Extreme Underground HDD LLC of Dickinson, ND and surrounding areas is currently hiring for a dependable full-time Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD) CDL Driver/Laborer to drive DOT equipment and assist in setting up and preparing the job site. This Driver/Laborer position works a full-time schedule of Monday through Friday and occasional weekends and earns a competitive wage, pay based on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HDD EQUIPMENT OPERATOR/ DRILLER
As a HDD Equipment Operator/ Driller, you play a critical role in the successful completion of our specialized projects. Every day, you show up to the job site on time, ready to roll up your sleeves and get the job done. You skillfully operate directional boring machines and be in constant communication with the locator. Between you and the team you have the awesome responsibility to complete a successful project. You will also use manual and/ or mechanical equipment to dig trenches, pits, and holes for our underground installations.

Working alongside your coworkers, you perform other necessary tasks that lead to the completion of our high-quality projects. Safety is a top priority for you, so you take care to work carefully and precisely. At the end of the day, you assist with cleaning up and tearing down the job site. As a HDD Locator, you are essential to our company’s ability to complete our specialized projects. You are a top-rate communicator who effectively conveys information and makes sure our drilling is accurate. Before we drill, you help identify new and existing underground utilities that could be in the bore path. You interpret signals from underground transmitters, and you guide the drill operator to ensure the location, angle, and temperature of the drill head are correct. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HDD LABORER
As a Laborer, you are an essential member of our directional drilling crew. You will perform the dirt and restoration work that’s necessary to excavate and dig trenches. You will run a hydrovac to expose utilities. Each day, you arrive at the job site on time, ready to go to work. Attention to detail, you follow directions with exactness to ensure that the job is completed in a safe and timely manner. You know that your team is relying on you, and you support the crew in whatever tasks they need you to do.
